Requirements for getting married in Belize

• Fully completed marriage license application form notarized by a Justice of the Peace in Belize.
• One must be in Belize at least one day prior to applying for marriage license and three days prior to getting married.
• Photocopy of passport showing picture and date of arrival in Belize.
• No blood tests are required or parental consent if over 18 years old.
• Original certified final divorce decree- If either of the parties has been previously married.
• Original death Certificate- if either party is a widow or widower.
